Anthony Roberts, founder/CEO/President of Musical Arts Lyrics and Dance (MALD) Academy, represents the qualities of leadership, integrity and entrepreneurship that he inherited from the principles of business in which he has been engaged. Mr. Roberts is determined to help impart these principles to the community. He is driven to help empower his young students while using his own life experiences as an example in the society from which he came.

Mr. Roberts served as a lay counselor at North Phoebus Community Center in Hampton, Virginia. Mr. Roberts is a former student of Thomas Nelson Community College, where he studied liberal arts, and currently he is working for an Associate of Arts degree at Hampton University.

In the world of entertainment he has worked as the host for Urban Life TV, and is actively the working as a journalist for WNSB HOT 91.1 FM Norfolk State College radio, where he is known as “Mr. Brooks” on the air.  He has experience in managing international artists and has developed local artists in the Virginia area.  Mr. Roberts has organized productions and raised funds dedicated to charitable benefits that are focused on the children of today and their future for tomorrow.

Mr. Roberts’s short-term goal for MALD Academy is to gather the youth of Hampton Roads from all walks of life and help them to find their individual talents, encourage their participation in his programs. His long-term goal includes helping the students become all that they dream to be and providing these same charitable and educational services of MALD Academy to the children of the world.
